Welcome in the winter season with us by learning the art of backyard bird feeding. Mike Porter, CFA’s Board President, will give a talk on how to properly operate and maintain your backyard feeder, what food sources are best, and how often feeders should be cleaned to prevent the spread of diseases or parasites. Mike will discuss blue bird boxes, high-nesting boxes, and demonstrate his canopy bird feeder he uses to sustain non-migrating birds throughout the winter.
