Canopy Bird Feeder Installation Process (new!)
Ryan & John assess the height and strength of the branches, finding the one best suited to holding the feeder
Ryan shoots a throw line into the tree to attach his climbing equipment using an accurate throw bag launching system
John fixes up the eyehook required to keep the system securely in place
John drills a small hook into the trunk of the tree. The wire from the feeder runs down from the canopy to this point, making it easy to move the feeder up and down on the pulley system.
The tree is climbed using specialized safety equipment
All the way up!
The feeder of choice is attached to the wire and ready to be hauled up into the canopy
Ryan communicates to members on the ground and moves the feeder around to the preferred position
The tree is trimmed to keep it healthy and to reduce interference with the feeder
Ropes are removed
Job done!
