The life of a tree is known from its wounds. The stress history of an individual tree can be inferred from its present form, structure, and visual markers on the wood. Join ISA Certified Arborist, Zane Lawyer, as he walks the Historic Rondout-West Strand District. Unique specimens in the area will be shown and their health and condition visually assessed. Signs and symptoms of current and past stressors will be indicated and explained. Participants will gain a better eye for judging a healthy from an unhealthy tree and will learn a little about the world from a trees point of view.
