“So, there I was…,” or a similar phrase is often the opening line of any good hunting or fishing story. As any Catskill hunter knows, our region is abundant with wild game offerings such as deer, bear, rabbit, wild turkey, trout, and more. The health of these wildlife populations are intrinsically tied to the health of our forests. Part of our mission at the Catskill Forest Association is to promote stewardship of the Catskill forest and ensure that these wildlife have a home in our mountains for many generations to come. As a private, non-profit organization, we rely on your support to help make this mission possible.
Join CFA at the Margaretville Fire Hall for an evening out to taste some of the Catskill Mountain quarry from last season! Bring a homemade dish to pass or offer a donation at the door to share in on the fun as we enjoy the finest wild game around. Expect door prizes and raffles to benefit our work at the Catskill Forest Association, as well as plenty of great stories beginning with “So there I was…”
We would like to thank the Margaretville Fire Hall for helping make this event happen.
This event is free with a suggested donation at the door.
