WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

The kids look cute on their first day of school last week but notice the background. September marks the beginning signs of fall’s “golden rays.” I’m mesmerized by the golden appearance these rays cast through the trees, especially as fall foliage unfurls. Oak’s deep burgundy reds and maple’s golden foliage help reflect and exaggerate this golden shimmer even more. I look forward to bow-hunting from a tree-stand for this quality alone. Apparently, the sun appears more golden in fall due to its lower angle in the sky, which casts longer, softer rays of light.
