WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

I can’t speak for what works for others. But, in times like these I appreciate even more the forest that surrounds us and can be leaned upon. I can still make maple syrup, cut firewood to stay warm, and improve habitat in the summer for more wildlife come fall. I have seen more people outside in the last 2 weeks than I feel I have since the 1980s growing up. The apple tree pruning season has ended for us at CFA, but the grafting season is just beginning and will run until the end of May. Graft now, so you can have fruit for the future.
