WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

At CFA, we often install owl boxes for members. We can’t guarantee tenants since these animals are unpredictable. Also, most forests have plenty of competition for rentable rooms inside large, decayed spaces of dying trees. Still, these boxes offer one way to attract owls to places where they can both be seen, heard, & even provide a valuable service in pest control (i.e. voles, mice, etc.). Last week, one of our members finally informed us of a barred owl over in Sullivan County that has moved in. Pretty cool to see!
