WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?
Well, it’s pretty rainy & wet out in the woods these days. Hopefully not a repeat of last year’s growing season. I guess the one good thing lots of rain is good for is mushrooms & red efts. Also, for some reason, I’ve never actually found a morel mushroom either. But with all this rain, I happened to find one growing just beneath an ash tree I was treating this morning for emerald ash borer near Delhi. Firsts for both of us.
