WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?
I remember talking to a local logger years back about his upcoming work schedule. There was some weather coming in or something, and he would calmly reply, “Well, if the mailman works, then I will be.” Although I would argue working outside is more difficult, but then again, the mailman has to manage roads in every condition too. Although it seems spring has arrived, last week saw some real wintry conditions in Delaware County. Since we had no time to reschedule these 2 jobs, out we went to prune some apple trees. Hey, “If the mail man’s working, I guess I am too.” In any case, we had some fun–for a little bit–playing in the snow.
