WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

Soap that’s “from the forest.” Just got done mixing some deer fat (about 37 oz.), coconut oil, olive oil, balsam oil, and lye in order to make some soap. We’ll see how it comes out this time around. Deer fat isn’t known to be the greatest fat to “chew on.” It’s not like beef, pork (or even bear) fat and doesn’t taste as good. However, it does make a decent hard bar of soap that lasts a long time. The soap will have to cure for about 4 to 6 weeks. The “hearts” are for the kids.
