WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

The view from “my office” (or campsite) when I was an Assistant Forest Ranger in 2004, 2005 on Giant Ledge. I got a chance to take a quick hike up there last week. I’ve stayed away from Giant Ledge for awhile, since I spent so much time patrolling there. However, I was glad to be back. Lots have changed in my life since then, but these mountains still look the same, at least from this 3,200-foot view. I know that the mountains served me well back then for thinking about things. And it seems today, others too, were seeking out the mountains, in numbers. Happy belated Thanksgiving.
