WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?
Another deer hunting season is in the books–or more accurately–the freezer. The deer I got had a good amount of fat on them indicating decent health, which is good to see; most likely from abundant acorns where I was. My second daughter Maple seems to be most into the packaging portion of the process. This is our second year in using a vacuum sealer and it has been a “game changer” for sure, making the process cleaner and the final product fresher too. Did you find Maple’s Christmas List photo-bombing below? I hope the last 2 items ask Santa for more deer in ’24.
