WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

Finally found a good place to take 4 small children and my wife camping that isn’t too far to get to, while still being able to offer a few “natural amenities” such as a small stream, fire-pit, decent flat to pitch a tent, some privacy, and katydids to listen to while snoozing. Minor casualties included: (1) Metta’s dropped mermaid doll on the ride from the site (I turned around and picked her up); (2) Tanner’s swollen eye-shut from a mosquitoe bite; & (3) Maple’s clothes, since once on site, she didn’t care to wear them. Unscathed was the 1 year-old baby who finally slept like one and upon waking up, sat up, and smiled.
