WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

It’s pretty warm out right now, but a few days ago we had some low temperatures reaching below 30 degrees. I have three different fruit trees flowering right now: peach, apple, and Asian pear. Peach and Asian pears seem like they were too exposed and are black and dead from the frost. Apple flowers came out a little later and seem better. My European pears have not yet begun any flowering yet and stand a better chance. Hopefully this drier weather will continue and keep tree diseases from exploding as they have in the last 2 springs. We’ll see.
