WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

I had to go out this morning; I had the time & wasn’t sure how many opportunities there might be. I have to say, this northern guy was sweating this morning walking to the tree-stand. It was 63 degrees! Even though temperatures were high, deer were moving quite a bit since a large buck was pushing does all over the place. The buck decided to chase another doe over the knoll, and I lost sight of him. However, another doe did close width and ended up coming home with me. I currently believe in hanging deer for a minimum amount of time. Since the weather is so warm, I had to resort to packing this deer with ice. We’ll see.
