WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?
It’s that time of year again when spring is slowly setting in & deer can easily be seen near roadsides feeding heavily on the first greening of grass. Anecdotally, I feel the deer look better this year than in prior years. That makes sense, since this winter was fairly mild & lacked deep snow. In other news, my brother & I went for a walk last night & his dog almost got quilled by a porcupine & shortly after kicked up a coyote. We were both glad that his dog was smart enough not to pursue the porcupine.
May the forest be with you,
