WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?

One thing I value more each year are the abundance of springs in our forests. Not only for drinking of course but as “healing waters.” Any pain in your wrist, hands, or feet can be alleviated by these cold waters. Inflammation occurs while hiking, but this mountain water is normally below 55 degrees and serves as a natural cold-pack like no other. Apparently, the stinging nettle often found growing near springs can be used to alleviate arthritis, but the jury is still out.

May the Forest Be with You,
